· Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate financial statements,
  including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in
  compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

· Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with senior management to
  develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor budget performance
  and provide recommendations for improvement.

· Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal control
  procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with
  financial regulations. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.

· Month-End and Year-End Close: Oversee the month-end and year-end
  closing processes, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded
  accurately and on time.

· Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and
  opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement. Provide insights to
  support decision-making.

· Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and oversee
  the preparation and filing of tax returns. Stay current with changes in tax
  laws and regulations.

· Team Management: Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including
  hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and
  efficient work environment.

· Vendor and Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships and
  negotiate contracts to optimize terms and costs.

· Financial Software and Systems: Oversee the implementation and
  maintenance of accounting software and systems to streamline processes
  and enhance accuracy.

· Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills
· Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial and tax regulations
· Proficient in financial management software, i.e. SAP
· Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable
· Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate financial reports
· Experience in the agricultural or food industry is a plus
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
· Professional Certification, such as CPA or CMA
